Individuals Larry Gormley Larry Gormley is the editor of the Leaders and Battles database, and is an enthusiast of general World history with emphasis on Medieval history and 20th century history. Kimberly J Largent Kimberly J Largent is a systems analyst for a central PA corporation, and a Civil War novelist, freelance editor/writer and book reviewer. She is a past VIP (Volunteers in Parks) for Gettysburg National Military Park. Her studies include women of the Civil War and the monumental contributions they made during that time period. You can email Kimberly at KJLWrite@aol.com. Dr. Jay Schroeder Jay Schroeder is a native of New Orleans. He is married with two adult sons. He holds a B.A., Tulane, M.A., Chapman, Ed.D., Auburn. He served as a USAF officer for 25 years, flying fighters, tankers, observation and reconnaissance aircraft. He served in Vietnam, receiving the Distinguished Flying Cross and 17 Air Medals. He retired in 1988. Subsequent to military service, he had a 14 year career as an airline pilot, retiring in 2002.
